Vesak @ Orchard 2006

We also participated in Vesak @ Orchard 2006, being part of the Mobile Outreach Team. It was an unique experience, as we joined more than fifty other youths in wearing sandwich boards, carrying banners and balloons and parading along orchard road. we also folded lotuses to contribute to the million lotus project. It was a meaningful Vesak Day for all of us.

Buddhist Youth Leaders Workshop

On 15 July, Saturday, we attended a Buddhist Youth Leader Workshop at KMSPKS. The topic was: What is it in for me as a Buddhist Youth Leader, conducted by Venerable Zhi Xing. Many youths stood up and shared with us their motivations in being Buddhist Youth Leaders and their future plans as leaders. We also met people from various buddhist youths organisations. it was heartening to see so many brothers and sisters in the dhamma coming together :)

Welcome

We are a group of buddhist youths, currently seeking our undergraduate studies in Singapore Management University. Our SMU Buddhist Society was recently set up, so that more like-minded youths, who are interested in learning the Dhamma, may come together and pursue their ultimate goals together.

Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu!
